JamAI is a personal notes and planning app that Jamie McDonald built for his own use. It isn’t offered to anyone else, and nobody else can sign in to it.
What it does with Google
When Jamie signs in with Google, JamAI can open his Google Drive so that its teaching assistant can make and edit his Google Slides presentations. It only uses decks that Jamie has linked in his own teaching notes, and decks it made itself. Before it changes a deck, it saves a copy in Jamie’s own Drive.
Where things are kept
- The Google sign-in is stored only on Jamie’s own computers. It isn’t shared with anyone.
- JamAI keeps a list of the changes it makes, in Jamie’s own notes.
- To do the work, the text of the slides it reads or writes is sent to Anthropic’s Claude, the AI model JamAI uses. Nothing is sold, shared for advertising or passed to anyone else.
Stopping it
Jamie can sign JamAI out at any time, in the app or at myaccount.google.com › Security › Your connections to third-party apps & services.
